Fortnite keeps crashing when i load into a match

When ever i go to load up in a match on Fortnite Battle Royale im sitting at my loading screen about to be in the pre game lobby when my game frezzes then crashes. This is also happining to a friend of mine. It only has been doing sence the new update on
June 17, 2018, and only on fortnite. I dont know what to do.

Xbox keeps crashing when playing Fortnite

Hi,

My XBox OneS keeps crashing when playing Fortnite. Also crashing when I play Sims4 and Overwatch, but not as often.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

KI crashes all the time now. I played four matches tonight and EVERY one of them crashed. KI keeps freezing up and sometimes it doesn't even load when I relaunch it. I hard booted by Xbox One and it worked for all of five minutes and then crashed again.
Thank goodness Destiny beta is coming soon. This is the pits.

yes installed on the internal hard drive, done a full format and reinstall etc, battle royale wont load a battle, crashes out after 1 minute...other parts of the game are fine just that section...all other games work fine..

I have tried running it from both an external hard drive and the internal storage.

Seems like you have indeed performed all the necessary steps, is this the only game that you're having an issue with?

Also, is this stored on your Xbox Internal Storage or Expansion card?
