Fortnite Invites Broke or just me?

Once again it appears fortmares has brought back a game invite issue. This means that you have to be epic friends for someone on xbox to join your game. This issue has only occured with some people so my advice is to let epic know and
hope we get a patch next update day.

[How To] Get Into The Fornite Closed Beta

They would download the free version. The locked pve version is inside the free version. It's weird; the name of the free game they released on the xbox store is called Fortnite: Battle Royale, when that is actually just a game mode inside the game. The other game mode is call Save the world (the locked game mode). Both game modes are accessible from the game Fortnite: Battle Royale. That's why it's weird. The game name should just be Fortnite. Oh well though.

To really answer your question though, they go onto the store and download Fortnite: Batlle Royale. It's free. Then the person who is in the beta goes into the pve game mode and sends the game invite. Then the invitee will be able to play after accepting the invite. Without the invite the person gets an error message or maybe a prompt to buy one of the support packs to get access. Don't buy it yet though, the entire game is supposed to be free to play eventually.
