Fortnite installation stopped

I’ve been trying to see the new Fortnite update but every time I try to update it a message appears saying installation stopped and I’ve tried things like clearing local save data uninstalling and reinstalling the game restarting my Xbox but nothing seems to work. I’ve also went and reset the console but the same issue contiuned. Help pls

Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues as well.

Hi,

We had to do a complete reset including deleting games but Fortnite is now working as it should!

Please, reset your console.

You can follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.
