Fortnite Installation Issues

As of last Fortnite update, I can not install/update the game. The issue seems restricted to specifically Fortnite as I successfully installed another game with no issue.

I have uninstalled the game but its stopped reinstallation at 90%. All attempts to resume the installation have resulted in a Installation Stopped error.

I understand this may be an issue with Fortnite and illI be making a similar post on their forums

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue preventing you from installing Fortnite.

There are actually a couple of troubleshooting options that might help out a bit in this situation.

Since this is concerning the installation of Fortnite, then I would suggest trying the steps on

Troubleshoot game or app installation problems on Xbox One.

If that does not help so much, you might want to try the steps on our game freeze article at "My Xbox One game won't start or freezes during gameplay"

If and when you get a chance, give the steps on those pages a shot and let us know how that helped.

Yes the issue seems to be related only to Fortnite and many have reported it. Just be patient until it is solved

Hey ladies and gents!

We suggest to uninstall the game but before the re-installation to clear the game cache since the issue might lie in the cache itself.

How to clear Game Cache on the Xbox One:

Settings

System

Storage

Clear Local Saved Games

Yes and Restart

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.

Finally, A solution. Mine Has Stopped at 86% and I says installation stopped. Guess I have to be Patient
