    Fortnite - Headset problems


    Hi there,

    I recently bought a headset for the XBOX one, (two actually - one a Konix headset and the other a Turtle Beach). I am playing Fortnite.

    When I plug it into the wired controller, an icon resembling a headset appears on the screen. I can hear through the controller but cannot speak.

    I have installed Skype on the XBOX to test this and it all works fine. I have checked all permissions etc and they appear to be fine.

    I have no friends to test this out on Party chat, but when I create a party and go into it, when I speak nothing changes on the icon (which is supposed to happen I believe).

    Is there some known issue with Fortnite and headsets on the XBOX One? This has been going on for a while now and I cannot seem to get a resolution.

    fortnite loading and rendering problems

    I'm just wondering if anyone else on xbox live having problems with loading or rendering problems with Fortnite? I get "for some reason fortnite took too long to start" and the few times I can load fortnite I have all kinds of rendering problems. anyone
    else?????

    Fortnite Game Chat Not Working

    Hey there! So I've been having problems with game chat on fortnite battle royal. I can hear players but I can't talk, I updated my controllers and updated them with the adapter and headset. My game chat works on other games and my xbox account is unrestricted
    to content.

    Hi there, The headset is Turtle Beach, multi-use does Xbox and PS4.

    Ok because I know with the 9.10 Fortnite update somep people were experiencing issue with in game audio.

    Is your son using a wired or wireless controller?

    Can your son friends not hear through the mic? What messages/or code is coming is coming uo when he tries to connect to a party? Lastly, is he joining a party via Xbox or trying to talk yo his friends via fortnite game chat?

    Hi there, from what i get is hes friends cant hear him as they say his mic is broken, yet i can hear myself in the headset speakers.

    No fault with connecting with a party as he can play with hes mates on screen in the same game.

    trying to talk via Fortnite.
