    Hi,

    After 5 months of trying to buy an XBox Series X to replace my old XBox One, I finally succeeded. I was really excited to start playing Fortnite and some other games on my 4k television. Unfortunately, all 3 games do not get anywhere past the trailer (which by the way look very nice with the high resolution) and then they bomb out. No error message, nothing, only returning to the main menu. Minecraft does work, guess resolution plays a factor.

    I reported a problem using the report problem app but did not receive feedback. Did it go anywhere, or just the round file? No way to tell as the ticket doesn't appear on my MS account.

    Tried the problem resolution steps (stop/start game, reinstall, reinstall XBox from scratch). Even connected the XBox to an older television with no 4k and reinstalled. Same problem.

    Does anyone have any suggestions? If no technical recommendation, what is the best way to get support from Microsoft?

    Gamer in despair...

    Thanks. Will give MS a few days to respond to my Report Problem ticket and then send in the XBox for repair.

    Thanks Ricardo. I tried lower resolution on my 4k Samsung television and both 60 and 120 fps. Also reinstalled XBox with an older 1080p television connected. Still issue persists.

    You pointed to the "repair" page. Do you think this is a hardware issue?

    Have you tried lower resolution and still the games crash? You could also test a lower framer rates, if nothing like this works, try unplugging any USB device if nothing works, try this to get your device service

    Thanks! The weird thing is, this issue only happens with series x games. Forza horizon 4 looks perfect. It’s just the new multiplayer halo and Forza Horizon 5.
