Fortnite Game Share Issue

I recently got my brother an Xbox Series S and decided to gameshare to him so we could play games together. However, when he opened Fortnite he wasn't allowed to play because it said he had no xbox live. We are confused because my account is definitely
game shared to his xbox and I own Game Pass Ultimate (Game Pass and Gold combined). Does anyone know a fix for this?

I should probably add that the Gold seems to work on other games like Minecraft and Friday the 13th, but these games don't require you to choose an account before being able to play.

She was the first to log into fortnite on the xbox. When i tried to log my epic account on it from my profile, it just brings up her fortnite account even if im on my profile. We share one xbox with 2 different microsoft accounts and we share the gold
for multiplaying. The only way to log her out is to unlink it from the epic games website. I can play everything else independently, but so far have been unsuccessful on having two fortnite accounts on one xbox, even on two different accounts. I know how the
sharing works, This is Fortnite specific on ONE console.
