    Good day... So i have friends that have ps4's and im the only one with n xbox and i love my xbox but they play fortnite all the time and i miss out most of the time bc i have to save up money to buy gold since I'm just 14.     Fortnite is not tied to Gamepass. Currently, you can play Fortnite if you own Xbox Live Gold.

    You will need an XBox Gold membership to play any games online. You can also buy monthly XBox gold cards.
    PS also requires their memberships to play online games

    Except of Fortnite, reason is that they are rising their console profit selling rate by making fortnite free to play without membership

    Then why not xbox can make fortnite free to play without xbox live gold membership

    Fortnite is a free-to-play game which means it does not require an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

    Xbox Live Gold subscription is not just required for free-to-play games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, Warzone 2.0 etc.

    Dear Microsoft he or she is totally right since fortnite is a free games it should not require xbox live gold membership. So could you remove xbox live gold from fortnite.
