Fortnite deleted itself- now can’t reinstall

Hi,

Yesterday I was in the process of installing season 7 updates for Fortnite when the game just dissapeared. I have since downloaded the game again but it won’t install. It will try for a few seconds and then say installation stopped. Then I select try reinstalling
again and the same thing happens a million times over.

This isn’t the only game or app it has happened to either. We hust have to keep selecting try reinstalling untill it eventually gets there.

The xbox one is 4months old. Our connections are all good and working there is no status to say anything is wrong. We also have a ps4 running from the same internet and never has a problem downloading and installing.

Could this be a network hardware/software problem with the xbox itself?

Any help would be great.

I recommend checking out the following troubleshooting article:
87E0000F occurs when downloading a game or app on Xbox One.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.

I have just done everything you suggested and started to install Fortnite again, it was working for a little while and then stopped with this error code which i have also had several times now since owning the xbox.

Physically power cycle the Xbox One and give it another try. If the issue persists then you can try to

Reset the console and keep Games and Apps. Just make sure that you have your Account information ready to go so that you can add your account back on the set up.
