fortnite crashing

ok i already posted this to epics site forum LIKE I WAS TOLD TO >.> by the email i sent about bugs/crashing. got no reply pertaining to the subject at hand.

ok so im gonna be doing this long winded type. since the 5.0 update with fortnite my game has been crashing. at the start of the crashing it was once or twice a play session (roughly bout 4-7 hours of play time depending on breaks and days off you know the
general) then it got to the point where it started going 3-4 times during the play session, now with the update or something of the like i cant rejoin the game in session anymore. -_- roughly started the 26th my game crashed every 1-2 hours in a 7 hour play
time. did it again the next day, did it with in 30 mins starting Saturday of playing, ive come to roughly about 42 by my guess of crashing so far. and i crashed again with the 5.1 update. 20 seconds to the end of a survivor mission. (luckily i got my reward
for completing the mission this time unlike the ungodly amount of crashes i have been through since the start of this BS.) weird part though is my husband also plays, on his own system. his does not crash, hasn't really crashed at all for the entire start
of playing fortnite back in January.

ok so far what i have done to try to resolve this issue

restart the system repeatedly. (as in 20+ times)

uninstalled, cleared the cache, reinstalled said game an updates(that was fun took about 40 mins since the update was hiding in the shop not in the update folder in the apps)

changed the brick out (xboxone brick) to 360 brick with adapter

removed the system off the eithernet cord and have it as wireless to the router(slightly bugging because the xbox loves its cord >.>)

and yet the crashing persists in happening. ive made several bug reports on the game in the game about the crashing. ive emailed the contact us on the fortnite twice, about this but the one i did for bug report(the first one) told me to make a post in the
forum. the second one directed me to the a trouble shooting page on epicgaming, when none of the stuff helped out (aka all the same bs ive already tried doing) it sent me microsoft and to the contact them, when i got ahold of one of the techs after finding
out what the issue was suggested to go to the contact epics since its most likely a game issue, told the tech i had already did that and all it did was send me to the forum, i would like a fix for this.

Xbox keeps crashing when playing Fortnite

Hi,

My XBox OneS keeps crashing when playing Fortnite. Also crashing when I play Sims4 and Overwatch, but not as often.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

A powercycle might be your best option, hold power button for 10 seconds until console turns off and then unplug for 10 seconds. After that fire it back up and try it out.

1- Try to reset the xbox and see if so when you start update the status of the game

2- Go to manage game data and check that it is installed or pending installation.

3- Uninstall the game and restart the xbox

4-Install the games and then install all the updates, be careful not to install any updates before the game.

If you had read my full page post you would have seen I did do all that. I even did a restory(not factory restore the one where I kept my saved files and games) this afternoon. And I still crashed. Twice. With in an hour of each other.
