    Fortnite Crashing on Xbox


    Whenever I get into a solo or squads game my game freezes, crashes, and then my entire Xbox completely shuts off. Has this been happening to anyone else? I've tried everything that support has told me to do.

    I've done the following:

    • Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
    • Performed a full reset of my console (keeping games and apps)
    • Cleared save data for the game
    • Removed and re-added my profile
    • Tried a different profile
    • Cleared Blu Ray persistent data

    The only thing that has happened (I'm not sure if it's a good or bad sign) is that I tried my profile on a different console and I was able to play Fortnite. I'm really confused and would love for this problem to be resolved.

    Xbox keeps crashing when playing Fortnite

    Hi,

    My XBox OneS keeps crashing when playing Fortnite. Also crashing when I play Sims4 and Overwatch, but not as often.

    Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    Ugh been having this exact same issue for weeks and it’s very frustrating it won’t even let me get 5 mins into a game without it freezing and the the Xbox turning off

    Are you running weird or wireless internet? Also are there family restrictions on your xbox?

    did anyone findout what is causing this or how to fix it. I have been having this problem with fortnite for the past week and I have also done the trouble shooting said above.

    How to fix my game crashing consistently?

    When fortnite crashes or god of war crashes it tells me that my game has crashed and on other games it doesn’t tell me anything it just crashes.

    Done with Xbox.

    Yes. Only Apex and Fortnite. But no one else is having these issues. Fortnite did have a crash bug back in season 6 but that was months ago.
