Fortnite crashing every time I try to start it up

Hi there everyone,

I am having problems with playing fortnite on my Xbox one s. It only happens on my Xbox and I can’t find anyone around having the same issue. The problem is that when I start up fortnite it goes on the loading screen as normal. Once here the loading bar
gets to around halfway and then stops. After it has stopped there isn’t a black screen and then it crashes back onto the Xbox home screen. I can’t seem to solve the problem and either can Xbox support. It is nothing to do with with my internet, like Xbox have
said. I know that is because my friend who was in the same room as me was playing perfectly on the exact same game. I don’t know what to do. Please help!!

Every time i try to start a party on my phone it keeps crashing the app i hope this gets fixed soon.

Happy to help troubleshoot the game crashes!

When dealing with any game crashes on the console it is always best to start with the Game won't start guide.

If after trying every step on that guide you still run into issues, can you post back with:

• NAT type
  
• Detailed network stats
  
• Photo of the console location and where it is plugged into a power source.
  
• Are you using an external hard drive?
