    Fortnite/controller problem!

I recently got Fortnite again, because OG Fortnite came back out. Anyways I tried playing it with my controller works fine on everything else but, “EPIC GAMES / FORTNITE.” I don’t know if there’s a setting I have on but I have my default settings from Xbox. When I try to play I have like 10 sensitivity but it’s on default 4. Then when I try to build it auto switches my mats wood, brick, and metal. When I go to game modes it does go one by one in the selection like usual it auto skips like 2 so it’s making me pass games modes I want to play!!!! Sometimes when I close Fortnite and open it back up it’s back to normal settings like on my Xbox but when I run it on my pc and plug in my controller it’s everywhere HELP ME!!!

    :)

    Fortnite/controller problem!

Hello Most H, I am an independent advisor and I would be happy to help you today. My name is Khaji

I understand that you are experiencing problems with your Xbox controller while playing Fortnite on your PC, I will leave you with a few steps to follow!

Controller sensitivity: If your controller sensitivity is too high, you can try adjusting it in the game settings. Go to the menu, then settings, and select the controller or keyboard and mouse options, depending on your input. Then go to sensitivity and select “Advanced options”. Here you can adjust your preferred sensitivity

Building issue: If you're having trouble building in the game, it could be an issue with your controller settings. One suggestion disables the “Block user input method as mouse” option in input/controller settings.

Skipping game modes: This issue may be related to a bug in the game. You could try restarting the game or even reinstalling it to see if that solves the problem.

General Controller Issues: If you are experiencing issues with your controller in general, you could try updating your controller firmware, or even reinstalling your controller drivers.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! If you need anything else, don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Sport Red Controller

The problem is only on Fortnite with this controller. A different controller works fine with same headset. Player can hear the game but neither player can hear each other.

Team based games are a joke sometimes

Although your idea does serve a point the only problem is Xbox doesn't control most of the popular games ie Fortnite, R6 Siege etc

    Xbox one controller

The controllers put up with a lot, but the problem I've found with games like Fortnite is that the sense of urgency involved tends to lend itself to buttons being pressed a bit harsher than it would be if it were say Forza or suchlike. It's not limited
to Fortnite as games like FIFA, CoD, PUBG also have issues with this as they are competitive games & the heat of the battle can be difficult to regulate how one uses the controller.

Fortnite mobile controls vs Xbox controls

Hello, Pigeon my name is oskayra I am an independent advisor and player like you I hope I can help solve your problem today

Yes, there is a way to turn off the Fortnite mobile controls when using Xbox cloud gaming. Here are the steps on how to do it:

Open the Fortnite game on your device.

Tap the controller icon in the upper-left corner of your screen (next to the Xbox button ).

Make sure the "Xbox Touch Controls" option is selected.

Tap the "Mobile GUI" button in the lower-right corner of your screen.

Select "Hide Mobile GUI" from the menu.

This will hide the Fortnite mobile controls and only leave the Xbox touch controls visible. You can now play Fortnite with the Xbox touch controls without having the mobile controls overlapping.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! If you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact us again.
