    Fortnite - Can't login


    Trying to login to Fortnite keep getting message that "Something went wrong - sign in with the account that purchased the game or installed the app, or, if the game has a trial version that has expired, purchase the game from the Microsoft Store". this
    is an active account and I can't login to the store, says it's down, so not sure what's going on???

    This still doesn't help me. I can't get into anything online on any Xbox. The store just asks to reload. I can't view my account profile, I can't login to Fortnite, I can't login to call of duty.

    Please, verify if your Microsoft Account is linked to your Epic Account:

    https://www.epicgames.com/account/connections

    Then, power cycle the console to clear its cache data and try again.

    To do it, follow these steps:

    Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    Plug the console power cable back in.

    Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    Let me know if it works!

    Why can't I login to fortnite

    I did all the steps and the same thing still happens I verified that my Xbox account was linked to my epic games account and then follow the procedure you gave me. I did notice though that at the bottom of my screen before hitting retry it says "An unexpected error occurred while signing in to your account for Xbox Live. Please try again later." Maybe this means something but up to this point I'm clueless. I just want to play fortnite.
