Fortnite and other games install and update issues.

Hi My son has been trying to reinstall Fortnite for the past two days... Also when trying to update a few other games it starts and then stops updating or installing and just gets stuck and won't continue.. very frustrating for him.

anyone else having issues where installs and updates start and then stop and won't continue??

HELP!!! Xbox One will not install Fortnite update

My Xbox One won't install the latest Fortnite update, but my Xbox Live connection isn't any different (I can still play other games online and join parties). It keeps saying "Queued". Can anyone help? I have got more than enough space on my hard drive, there
are no system updates and, as previously stated, my internet connection is perfectly fine.

Please go to My Games and Apps and select Fortnite and uninstall it. Then go to the
Ready to Install section and select Fortnite and Install it back onto your Xbox. Then try and launch the game again.

9 times out of 10 this resolves most issues regarding games not loading, because there is generally a file which has become corrupt.

Yes same issue with me. About 30+ hours ago my xbox developed an issue where it was unable to update any games, download any games, and already installed games fail to start 85% of the time. My brother has another xbox in the same household and is experiencing
the same issue. Hard reset, deletion of local saves, and resetting wifi modem all failed to fix the problem. As of right now the issue is still ongoing

 

thanks for the reply. I am onto xbox support and they are about to go through throubleshooting. gonna tell him that there are others having the same issue. so frustrating!

five full minutes, and try downloading this content again. This should clear your consoles cache and refresh you consoles connection. Be sure to let us know how that goes.

 

Spoke with someone from xbox support and apparently this is an issue with people in Australia whose internet provider is Optus

 

This solution has also failed, no change to the issue. Can some kind of compensation be expected for the failure of these services? I activated xbox games pass 5 days ago, and have been unable to download, and therefore play any of the games on it. Also
I contacted xbox support 3 days ago about this issue, and was given a 48 - 72 hour timeline for a fix, this has now passed, so is there a possibility of an update on how long this fix will take?

 

I've had the same issue. I'm on optus also. They gave me a 72 hour timeline and it's been almost a week. Not sure what to do at this point, it is very frustrating. It also seems as of today when I've gone to contact them, they got rid of their live support.
This issue needs to be resolved, I don't want to pay for something I cannot use!
