Fortnite and Epic Games Help

When I try to connect my epic games account to Xbox live it says your Xbox live account is already linked to an epic games account, Im very confused because it won't show me what account this is, also when I press 'back' it returns me to the page where I
can click to connect to a psn, xbl or twitch account and Im back to where i started, i cannot play the game therefore or find any help
