when I try to connect my xboxlive account from the Epic site, I get an error message saying that my xboxlive account is already connected to another epic account. The problem is that I do not know or remember this accoun epic

I would like to know how I can see from the page of my xboxlive the name of the epic account to which I am connected

Hello!!!

If you're playing on Xbox One, things are a little more complicated. If you've linked an Epic account before, use that. If you haven't however, you're going to want to do that first. But don't make a new Epic account the normal way, that will just muddy
the water. Instead, go to Epic.com and click the Xbox logo at the top under "sign up." The service will generate a new Epic account based on your Xbox One account. You can then go to your Switch and sign in using your Epic account.

I'm 90% sure the only way to unlink the account is to get in touch with Epic support and talk to them directly. I could be wrong, but I'm
pretty sure that's it.

Yea you 100% wanna comtact them they can change the email if you have the right info but to directly answer your question yes you erase that epic account you will most likely lose your purchases since your purchases are tired to.your epic account

We did reach out and they will change the bad email address if we provide the cc info used in the purchases. The problem is we used gift cards from bdays etc that are long gone. There aren’t that many purchases on epic games, i just don’t want to lose
the purchases that were made on the xbox account, which are numerous. I will probably try to unlink them first to see what happens.

Hi there!

I unlinked an Xbox account back in 2018, and my account got reset. Epic Support did not help me recover my account. Please make sure you are linking to the correct email address or contact Epic Games support for help on this
