    Fortnite 5 - parental permission issue


    New Fortnite 5 has arrived and for some reason today "parental permission" is needed.

    I can't figure out where or how to do this. My son played yesterday just fine - no changes from us.

    As far as I know I have an adult account, he is a teen. As far as I know we do NOT have a family account.

    His account says ask a parent. When I try to add him to the Family Account, it says "Try that again, there was a problem"

    I also believe my son used MY email to create his account as he does not have his own.

    It won't let me add my son, so I can't adjust his settings.

    Any steps for us?

    There is an issue with the Xbox Live Account & Profiles service at the moment and you may need to wait until it is resolved.

    If you are part of a Family account, the permissions for content are on the Microsoft website in the Family section and set for each individual user.
