Formatting USB drive to Xbox and back again?

I have a USB drive that I usually use on my computer that I would like to use to copy the things from my xbox in the living room into the xbox in my room. I was wondering that if I format my USB drive with the xbox will I ever be able to use it on my PC
    again?

    :)

    Won't recognise HDD

Formatting an XBOX HDD via a USB cable destroys the custom partitioning/formatting and security data on the drive. There's no sanctioned way to restore a drive after that.

  3. Question on Flash Drives

Note: The formatting CAN be undone on a USB flash drive. Go to storage, highlight the usb drive, and hit Y. The option will be there to undo the formatting.

Hi, sure you can just format the USB device again on your PC and use it as you normally would.
