    i have an xbox one s , bought it in china before i realised it only supports chinese language. all i can do is play games on it which is pretty rubbish. i formatted the hard drive and put the latest updates fron ODU1 and the xboxonehdd-master-5 codes onto
    it, all uk versions. put the hdd back in and it all came back chinese. so its not the OS but something in the box that makes it come up as chinese. would love to know if there is some tech wiz out there that can help me get rid of this stupid language and
    put english on it.

    Hating the fact I have to always use Rich Formatting because for some reason, quick reply doesnt format as I typed, in the same way it didnt work on Chrome before

    Due to Chinese trade laws, all Xbox One consoles sold in China are totally region-locked to Chinese games and language. There is no known workaround to this, other than returning your Chinese console for a refund and buying your console from another country.

    already bought a new cable and it still didnt help unfortunately. right now im formatting it to fat32 instead of NTFS. trying this as a solution.

    even tho the xbox says NTFS is what it needs. that format version does not work.
