    You don't need to, but if you did, it'd still be fine. Whichever you feel comfortable with. I've formatted my console once in the past, and I disconnected my external, just to make sure it didn't mess that up. Format :)

    Format

    If the drive is a USB 3 drive and is set up as a media, just unplug, and reformat it in your PC, then replug into your Xbox and you should be prompted to select the type of drive i will be used as.

    Occasionally the forum glitches out and reveals that underneath it is just the old one that used to be at gamesforwindows.com.

    MLB 2K11 is the only one that was released as a Region Free disc, so you can play that on any console. i don't believe any of the others (2K6 - 2K13) ever had a PAL release.

    This has happened to me as well. Tried getting hold of Bungie but they have a wonderful system in place to make it impossible to actually speak to anyone there. I'm stuck. If anyone out there has a solution I'd be very grateful if they could let me know?
    (I tried the solution supplied by Kothos below but it didn't work for me. Thanks anyway, mate).
