    cannot update xbox live

If you can, backup your saved games to a USB flash drive or to the cloud if you dont care about your saved games and you are able to DL your pfofile I suggest formatting your Harddrive according to the error code that is a big way to resolve this issue.
Settings>System>Storage>Highlight your Harddrive press "Y" and select format.

Cloud saves keep your game saves stored remotely on Microsoft's servers,
away from your local hard drive.

You can format your hard drive without worry. Just log back into your account afterwards, and you'll get your cloud saves again.

    Need help please!

When the Cloud syncs, that usually means the save data was transferred to the Harddrive.

How do i keep game saves when needing to delete game for re-install

    Hello

If you are connected to Xbox Live, save games automatically save on both your harddrive and the cloud. When reinstalling the game and launching it you will be prompted to download the cloud save data

    Lost campaign progress to cloud.

best bet check epic forums there a tread there that shows u how to load in ur cloud data without coppurting it. i think u have to delete the gears 3 file from ur harddrive then load in game when it says which one to load in harddrive or cloud chose cloud
and the last time u saved on the cloud all that data should be there play a quick private game let it save to the servers the go back out of the game then load back up chosing harddrive this time and all data should be back
