    Forgotten password and erased e-mail address.


    Yeah so my brother has a bit of a problem. He can't access his gamertag to be used on Xbox Live since he's forgotten his password and the e-mail account that was used for that gamertag has been deactivated because it hasn't been used in a while. So I'm trying
    to help him get his account back and I need help. His gamertag is fallenfateXD.

    Parent e-mail password forgotten?

    I don't play Xbox anymore, and I'm looking to sell it. While trying to to cancel my subscription it says I need to accept the new Terms of Use, and I need the parent e-mail to do so. Well I created my account when I was an idiot, and threw some random e-mail
    account down that no one knows the password to. How can I cancel Xbox Gold without having to do this nonsense?

    support.xbox.com/contact-us and select your issue. You'll be able to request a call back from support (bypassing long hold times), verify the account, and the support agent will be able to
    cancel it for you.

    I've forgotten the E-mail that I used to create the account, and when I normally try to log in to the account on my Xbox 360 it says that it needs the E-mail and the password.

    For a forgotten e-mail, there is nothing we can personally do here since we don't have your personal information with us. But if you give Xbox Support 1(800) 469-9269 a call and provide valid information you (MAY) ask them which e-mail is registered with
    it. If you receive your e-mail and don't remember the password you can always click "Reset password" to try and attain your e-mail address back.

    Other than that there is no other option, forgetting which e-mail you use isn't something we can recover or help you with here on the forums!

    Parent e-mail password forgotten?

    First, get the email account from your Xbox by following these steps
    support.xbox.com/.../forgot-microsoft-account     (Find your Parent Microsoft Account)

    Copy down the email address and visit
    account.live.com/.../reset    , click "I forgot my password" and "Reset your password". Enter the email address from before and solve the word puzzle. Click "I can't use any of these options."

    You will need to fill out a questionnaire designed to prove your identity. That should give you access to your account.
