    Forgotten pass, email/alternate email and phone numbers


    Was told by customer service on phone to try to escalate here. Have no old email to send password reset to or any of the old phones to text reset to. she said creating this account will get me fixed up. Please actually help me... im trying all kinds of
    avenues and none help today or any other day that ive tried. ive tried to talk to a person to just simply reset the password but its apparently not that easy. Willing to live video chat with birth cert and ID in hand or whatever u need. Thanks a million for

    If you haven't yet, it would be best for you to try the steps outlined in our
    Lost Account Solution    . However, Microsoft takes the security of your account seriously and if that nor the steps previously provided link help recover your account, you would have to start over with a new one.

    Unfortunately, nobody in the forums works for Microsoft, so I'm afraid you got some bad information. What you can potentially do is start the account recovery process.

    This page     will help you get started. And yes, it's designed to not be easy in order to protect your identity and your account.

    I have completed the "escelated microsoft account recovery" process at the same time that I sent you you the first contact, and have yet to hear back from anyone.

    Hi,

    as mentioned above contact xbox support saying you have forgotten the email. I believe they would give out the email so then you can do the recovery process.

    this is why you should keep note of the password as well as the email. alternative email or phone number is good in these situations as well.
