    Forgotten email address for my account


    I recently bought an xbox off a friend and wanted to connect this xbox to my old xbox live account which I set up many years ago, at the time I set it up on an email address I no longer use and have forgotten, I've tried everything that I think it could
    have been with no success. Does anybody know if there is a way I can find out the email address that I used as I know the password I would have used. I've tried to contact support chat about this issue but am unable to connect for some reason, I have also
    tweeted xbox live support but they have not replied.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    A question I have about Xbox Live

    A question I have is when I sign in on my Xbox 360 to my Xbox Live account in the top right corner it shows your emblem along with a rotation of my gamertag name, achievement numbers, money I have on my account, and my email address linked to the account. But for some reason it doesn't show my email address when it's rotating through and instead just shows blank nothing until the next thing comes up in the rotation when it should show my email address in the rotation.

    Help . . . I had to reset my XBOX One Console and now I cannot sign back into my account as I have forgotten my email address . . I know my gamer tag but not my email address.

    Does anyone know how to retrieve my email address please?

    Sorry to hear it.

    Please give phone support a call (twitter won't be able to help) and let them know what happened. So long as you can answer some account specific questions they can give the email to you.

    Xbox Customer Support will not have access to changing your windows live email or security information. Anything regarding your windows live account is handled by windows live since it's a different division of Microsoft. Although you use your Xbox live
    account with it, they are tchnically all separate. I would follow the steps on the link that FoomBerry posted. Good luck to you!
