    Forgot passcode and Password Question


    Recently tried to play Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, but the Parental Control option came up. I do not remember the password nor the password question. Please help.

    reset family passcode- forgot and do not have backup answer

    I do not recall every setting up my family passcode or a password reset question... I do not know the passcode or the answer to the question I am asked if I forgot my passcode... How can I reset the family passcode another way?

    You would need to contact support and they can help you reset it. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    You will not be able to download the profile without the password. If you forgot the password for your account, then please go to account.live.com and follow the string for Cant access your account? - try to reset the password that way.

    Or do you mean the passcode for the console? Or the passcode for the wireless network?

    XBOX LIVE PASSCODE.

    Are you referring to the LIVE passcode, or the Family Settings passcode? The Family Settings code will not be reset by a recover. If you forgot this passcode you can try answering the security question or calling phone support.

    Are you referring to the Parental Passcode on the console, or are you saying you forgot the password to the WLID associated with the Parent Account?

    If you forgot your LIVE passcode, just recover your account. You need to know your WLID and password for this.
