Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to complete a purchase.

The message you are receiving is due to your account being a Child account. There is an article that covers some of this info in detail and how to configure thisfor future references that I will link

Alternatively you can have the owner of the parent account take a look at the article that covers

Well, having done this myself all you can do is contact support and go thru the account verification process and that is all. There is no need to start asking a million ways around it...there are none. You can do it by phone or email. I suggest the latter.
If you answer MS' questions to their satisfaction (theirs mind you...no yours!) you can get a password reset link sent to any email you give. And poof! problem solved If not then the account is gone.

Good news if you can try over and over! I spent six months and just about as many email forms before mine was solved! BTW it is pointless to ask for you password. MS does not keep up with it. Why would a company let people know both your email and password?

I can't even sign in to my gamertag, which is the main problem here.

The only way to find out an e-mail associated with a gamertag that you no longer have access to on your Xbox 360 console is to contact either Microsoft Chat Support, or phone support.

You can do either by visiting this page here. Once that page loads, click Billing and Memberships, under Microsoft Account click Forgot Microsoft Account Username.

Please Note: You will need to answer all of the questions that the support agent asks you in order to be able to get the e-mail associated with the account. Failure to do so, will result in them not being able to give you the e-mail at all.
