Forgot email and password for xbox live

So I'm trying to recover my old Xbox live account for GTA social club, but I only remember my gamertag and don't own a 360 anymore. On top of that, I don't remember the email used, I checked my parents' email If they had a microsoft account since I remember
using their email for billing but nothing.

Is there any way to recover the account with only knowing my old gamertag? Since all the recovery processes assume you know one or the other. Not certain but I think it wasn't necessary to have a Microsoft account linked to your Xbox thingy back when the
account was created, I can't remember but I hope I didn't type some gibberish and add a @hotmail.com on top of it I doubt it though and not sure if it would've worked regardless.

if you used the same gamertag/nickname on GTA Social Club you should be able to enter that instead of the email address on the Social Club then try any of your old passwords.

you could also try clicking on the Forgot Your Password button to see if the password recovery email turns up at any of the addresses you (or your parents) use.

out of curiosity, did you ever log in to the Social Club on a PC or phone? if so you might have the email and password saved there and be able to log in and recover the account that way.

I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news, but there's probably very little that can be done. However, all hope is not lost.

Xbox Customer Support does have an account recovery process, but it will need much more than the gamertag. If you think about it, your gamertag is very public knowledge (appearing in games, leaderboards, etc.), so that's the reason they would need the e-mail
address associated with it.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but this is most likely the only option you have at this point. Good luck!
