Forgot child's microsoft email password and username

When I try to sign in to my son's xbox one microsoft account it requires me to use a password. I have tried using my Microsoft password but it does not work. I have no clue what his password is and neither does he. How do I find his password or rectify this
issue?

The easiest way to reset the password would be to go to

account.live.com/acsr

and try to recover the account.

The way you. Rectify this is by using the email assigned to his account then you go to the forgot my password icon and click on that to reset the password which your son will be emailed about to go through the steps of fixing his password. You can also
