Forcing a version of Minecraft?

I am trying to get Minecraft to play between the Switch and a PC.

The Switch is version 1.10.0.

And the PC was version 1.9.0, so I added the option for beta to updated through the Insider Content on the hub, and it went to 1.11.07

Can I force Minecraft PC to go to the same version as the Switch somewhere so they play?

The two are friended, can see each other, and invite, but they won't join due to mismatch of version.

Alright, I got it.

If anyone else has the same issue:

I ran command prompt as administrator.

Type Powershell and enter

Type

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *minecraftUWP* | remove-appxpackage -allusers

and hit enter

Then reinstall Minecraft. Dunno why 1.10 never installed any other way, but whatever.

I removed the Beta for the PC version and restarted everything and I still show 1.11.0.7 as the build.

Before that I was at 1.9.0, and attempted to do updates. Is there anything like in the old game days where I can manually download 1.10.0 and install that?

As far as I remember xbox and pc version already have 1.10.0 try updating the game without the insider
