Forced Updating

I know exactly how you feel. Nothing worse than wanting to sit back after work and enjoy some single player campaign in a game, with no intention of playing online multiplayer and then having to do a massive update and therefore not being able to play
the game you intended.

You should be given a choice on if you want to update or not.

you are in the preview program, that means you have requestd to be sent a lot of updates to test them, updates that may also cause issues with your console, why did you ask to be in the program when you clearly don't like getting updates?

Why not..............oh I don't know................try unsubscribing from the preview program? its not difficult, there is an option in the preview program sub menu, that way you'll only get updates once or twice a month at most, plus they wont cause issues
with your console.

If you wish to stay in the insider program, I suggest you start monitoring the Xbox Insider Release Notes page where update schedules are posted. Then you will know when there is an option to update and when it will become mandatory. You can keep up through this link. It will show things like this

Then too add on, every update you guys have done, has been absolutely garbage, my xbox completely crashes now and just shuts off and lags immensely, the preview program isn't worth it anymore.
