    These updates are ridiculous.

    First off, why is it always sudden? Whoever designed these updates to occur immediately without option or else you're offline should be fired. It's a horrible representation of Microsoft's view towards consumers, unless y'all just don't care at all.

    I understand this is a "insider" thing. And I heard the only way to get out is a factory reset? What's up with that?

    I wouldn't be concerned with this if it weren't for two issues. First being "just turn it to auto-updates". Thank god I'm deployed and have infinite internet that's completely free by the gigabyte. It's incredible how mindless y'all are, assuming we have unlimited internet. The second I turn on auto-updates, my internet usage, which is already expensive, vanishes immediately due to giant game updates. The second issue is of updates mid-game. In my case it was ranked Apex or Rocket League. How is this even an issue, do y'all understand how many people you're pissing off?

    Fix this pathetic excuse of "keeping us up to date".

    Anyways I find this to be more of a discussion topic. What does everyone else think about this? I'm personally beyond irritated. How can I get rid of this issue in a simple way?

    I know exactly how you feel. Nothing worse than wanting to sit back after work and enjoy some single player campaign in a game, with no intention of playing online multiplayer and then having to do a massive update and therefore not being able to play
    the game you intended.

    You should be given a choice on if you want to update or not.

    you are in the preview program, that means you have requestd to be sent a lot of updates to test them, updates that may also cause issues with your console, why did you ask to be in the program when you clearly don't like getting updates?

    Why not..............oh I don't know................try unsubscribing from the preview program? its not difficult, there is an option in the preview program sub menu, that way you'll only get updates once or twice a month at most, plus they wont cause issues
    with your console.

    If you wish to stay in the insider program, I suggest you start monitoring the Xbox Insider Release Notes page where update schedules are posted. Then you will know when there is an option to update and when it will become mandatory. You can keep up through this link. It will show things like this

    Then too add on, every update you guys have done, has been absolutely garbage, my xbox completely crashes now and just shuts off and lags immensely, the preview program isn't worth it anymore.
