Forced to pay for live

been unable to cancel my xbox live membership due to the 30 day gap because I changed my phone number am I now forced to pay it or is there a way out

B33R. Nobody wants to here it anymore. Microsoft got the abuse they deserved in the beginning and accepted it, they changed a lot of things to keep people happy. Kinect though wont be taken away, they have fed to much cash into the project to abandon it
now. I was one of the people who didn't like or want it in the beginning bit I have come to accept it now and am actually looking forward to trying the thing out. I am not brainwashed and I am not a fanboy.....I am simply accepting it for what it is, and what
it is is a clever bit of tech with a hell of a lot more to offer than a PS4 or WiiU. You have no right to constantly come here a tell people they're wrong for liking and wanting something. As for calling people things lke "xbots"? That's just being childish
and definitely wont get anyone on your side. Fact is that this is xbox.com and you will see xbox fans here. If you want people to agree more with you, I'd suggest going to a PS4 forum.

If you go to Sign in to your Microsoft account, you should be able to cancel your Xbox Live membership; all of the details should be displayed there as to when your membership will be cancelled and payments
stopped. This should be on the next renewal date. If you need to cancel your membership immediately, please contact Xbox Support at
support.xbox.com/contact-us.

I think its a load of crap that we have to except the forced gamertag without the option of choosing a new name without violating the rules. We pay to play on xbox live and now your forcing a name on us while telling us we have to pay for a name that not

But actually on both nintendo switch and ps4, they don t force you to play online, they actually let you choose if you want the services or if you just want to play, unlike xbox live which forces you to pay.

well most force name changes are in that format so yes you got one you want to change it to something you will have to pay for it and keep it E for everyone too many forced name changes results in perm ban of live.
