    Forced to download complete game again


    I’m updating destiny 2 and I noticed that it’s not a update but instead the whole entire game again. Literally was the last game for me to play before getting off last night. Why is it forcing me to download the entire game again when it should of just been a small patch update ? Help would be much appreciated

    Issues playing a downloaded game from xbox live

    Try deleting the game again then download a random game demo or two. After this download the game again.



    This should force the download to be written to a different physical part of the disk. This should help if your problem is caused by a bad sector on the hard drive.

    Yo....FullHornet. This has nothing to do with the servers being hammered. This is an issue where the entire game is downloaded on our hard drives, but the store is forcing us to completely re download the game. We shouldn't be downloading anything.....it
    is the reason we pre downloaded the *** thing.

    Updates Are Reinstalling Entire Games

    Please make sure you don't cancel an update during it's proces.

    If you cancel an ongoing update, it will remove the game and will force you to install the complete game again.
