Forced Minecraft Beta and map Corruption rolling back to stable (as instructed by Mojang)

First off... I have not opted-in on any beta program for Minecraft.

A few days ago Minecraft updated from v1.2.13 to v1.2.14.3 (beta). I did not recognize this at first and played a few hours.

Today I got a message in-game notifying me about the error to push a beta to non-beta users. I followed the
the instructions there to revert from v1.2.14.3 (beta) to v1.2.13 again by deleting the game and reinstall and my savegames should sync from the cloud.

After installing / rollback to v1.2.13 and loaded my maps they are now corrupted with bunch of missing blocks (huge areas). All my maps in the cloud is corrupted too.

This is a major error. I can't start to think about the hours me and my friends have put into these maps!

And the big question now... What do Mojang / Microsoft do to resolve this?!?!

PS: Me and my friends all play on Xbox One.

Because different regions have different laws, and because Minecraft is owned by Mojang, it may be best to contact them for details regarding copyright infringement. I
believe however, that it would not be able to be sold
as the rights to the map may still be owned by Nintendo.

Hi, I suppose you are in the Preview Program, you must sign out from the Minecraft beta from the Preview App, than delete and redownload Minecraft so you can switch back to the stable version.

I understand that 1.13.0 and higher are still beta versions of Minecraft that are not stable yet, the major version 1.12.0 is the one current stable version so I think you might downgrade due to servers not supporting beta versions yet.

To be able to play the BETA for minecraft you will need to sign up for it on Mojang website.
