Forced gt change, please review.

Hello, my name is Richard. I had a gamertag [Mod Removed], which was recently forced to Rapidcalf751059. This gamertag was meant to reference a video game, Borderlands. It is not offensive or profane. Please let me have my gamertag
[Mod Removed]. I have had it for years and am currently not recognized in my online community. I am not happy about this experience.

You can view your forced GT change at enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review if eligible. If you wish to change your GT at this point you will have to pay for the change.

You definitely wont be getting that gamertag back as it clearly violates the CoC.

Content involving illegality. For example:

• Gambling, piracy, child pornography, obscenity, or criminal activity
• Underage drinking, illegal drug use, or socially irresponsible behavior connected with drug use (e.g., drinking and driving)
  
• Terrorism (e.g., bomb or other weapon making instructions)
• Information that could help identity thieves (e.g., government-issued identification number)
  

 

You guys have not been helpful. Skag refers to an enemy dog in the game borderlands. You are failing at your own values by not understanding the context, and not offering any compassion, and just simply doing what is written.

 

Unfortunately, the name has to be taken at face value... if you look that word up in the dictionary (or just type it into Google), you get a drug reference as the top definition. If people haven't played Borderlands (and many haven't), that name takes on
a whole different meaning.

 

Despite what you meant it to be it is also an obvious drug reference so was not taken out of context.

You will not get that gamertag back no matter what.

 

Unfortunately, you will have to accept this decision and move on. They are very adamant that this type of gamertag will not be tolerated. We understand your reference but that does not eliminate the fact that the reference to drugs is clear. Happy gaming.
