    l believe my son changed my gamer tag and I cant change it and l cant change it to a new Gamer Tag of my own choosing. Case #13713746

    l have been on Xbox for over 13 years, please help....

    Issues with Xbox harassment and reports

    The enforcement team will only issue a forced gamertag change if the gamertag violates the code of conduct. There is no way to get a free change.

    Gob1zku is right. If there was an issue with the gamertag they would get a forced name change, not just banned. They could get banned if they had already had several forced name changes.

    GAMERTAG CHANGE

    The Xbox Policy Enforcement Team only issues forced Gamertag changes to Gamertags that violate the ToU and Code of Conduct. When a Forced Gamertag Change is issued, your Gamertag is converted to a randomly generated tag. I'd recommend just gathering up
    the $9.99 and paying for a change, since your Gamertag does not seem to be in violation of the rules, and I do not foresee a Forced Gamertag Change being issued for it.

    Sorry, but that is not possible. The enforcement team are the only ones who issue forced gamertag changes and they will only issue a change if the gamertag violates the code of conduct, which yours doesn't.

    If it was a forced name change you should of been sent a email explaining why or you can check on the enforcement site HERE

    It's highly unlikely your were issued a forced name change as the gamertag you were given does not match up with the gamertags the enforcement team issue when someone receives a forced name change.
