Forced gamer tag change

My tag was forcibly changed that I have had for over 5 years now. I understand that it may be taken by some as offensive, and have no problem changing it. But I was not even contacted about doing so, they just changed it themselves. I can't be helped by
anyone according to Xbox live support. I would just like to speak with someone about allowing me to change it to something of my choosing, they can even approve my change! I've had such a horrible time dealing with xbox live support each and every time I have
dealt with them as well. Makes me really consider going back to Sony like so many of my friends!

I just would like to speak with someone regarding my options or lack there of options

Forced Gamer tag change

I am being forced to change my gamer tag; (YuriFetish). I would like to know if there is any way i could prevent that from happening. Nobody i have talked to about it found it to be offensive and i would like to keep it. Sombody, please
respond to this. Thank you.

You can try submitting a case review at
http://enforcement.xbox.com but as you admit yourself, if others can take it as offensive, the enforcement team will most likely uphold their decision. The forced gamertag policy is per the code of conduct you agree to when you sign up for Live. You can
change it to anything you want, but you will have to pay for the change.

I'm going to assume that what is going on is that you were issued a forced gamer tag change since the gamer tag may be deemed offensive. A forced gamer tag change can result in not being able to post on the forums until that gamer tag is changed.

the free gamer tag change was only allowed when your gamer tag change was forced. People abused this by reporting gamer tags that people wanted to change so once a force change was made they then changed it again to what they wanted for free. Because
of that abuse of the system all game tag changes now cost even if a force change has happened.

As Smwutches stated it was a forced gamer tag change. Someone found that your gamer tag was inappropriate and reported it. With a forced gamer tag change there is no case review. Remember when choosing a gamer tag that millions of people can see this from
kids to adults if you think the gamer tag you use is fine, someone else may find it offensive or inappropriate. They need to follow the

code of conduct.

The rules also state you can't have anything that refers to or insinuates sexual themes. In your case the word "pimpin" is a nod to prostitution.
