My GT was The [Mod Removed] recently changed due to it offensive nature after 5 years and now it is slowbunny268005 and you people won't give me a free name change when u gave me this terrible name

i have had a forced gamer tag change from cazzabigboobies to sillypup i find my new gamer tag very offensive you are calling me a silly dog !!!!! force whatever you want but give me a better name that I dont find offensive or give me my xbox live money back

Hi, note that the Xbox Enforcement Team is responsible for any actions regarding forced gamertag changes, and they don't actually use or monitor these forums. I'd recommend looking into the case review process, which would allow you to directly contact

i spoke with someone at microsoft and this is what they told me to do. Also i dont need a case review, i understand why the gamertag was changed, i just think its unfair to make me pay for another one when it was banned and i didnt choose to have my name
as angryfoal.

Xbox/Microsoft support agents unfortunately are known for giving incorrect information especially when it comes to something that they do not deal with like enforcement actions.

You may not have chosen to have your gamertag as the angryfoal but you did choose to violate the code of conduct that you agreed to abide by when you chose your original name that violated the code of conduct.

The ONLY way that you will not have to pay for a name change from the angryfoal gamertag is by doing a case review through the enforcement teams website and if they determine there was a mistake and your original gamertag did not violate the code of conduct
then they would allow you to change your gamertag for free.

The Xbox Policy Enforcement Team only issues forced Gamertag changes to Gamertags that violate the ToU and Code of Conduct. When a Forced Gamertag Change is issued, your Gamertag is converted to a randomly generated tag. I'd recommend just gathering up
the $9.99 and paying for a change, since your Gamertag does not seem to be in violation of the rules, and I do not foresee a Forced Gamertag Change being issued for it.

Hi, forced gamertag changes are only imposed under certain circumstances. Having your personal info, name etc isn't recommended but also isn't against the terms of use or code of conduct.

If you were forced to change the gamertag, it would have been forced by the Product Enforcement Team. If the gamertag was reported as being offencive, and the PET decided that it was, then the gamertag is forced to change. Chances of getting the old gamertag
back is slim to none, as once a gamertag is used, it remains unavailable for something like 5 or 7 years. Plus, there is a good chance that, even if you were able to change it back, that the PET would simply force you to change it again. And beyond that, the
more you are forced to change your gamertag for ToU violations, the more chance you have of getting suspended. I would just chalk the old gamertag up as gone, and go from there.

Profane words or phrases
Topics or content of a sexual nature
Hate speech
Controversial religious topics
Notorious people or organizations
Sensitive current or historical events
