Discus and support Force game updates in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there a way to force the xbox to search for game updates besides having "instant on" enabled, which doesn't work many times?     Force game updates


    Is there a way to force the xbox to search for game updates besides having "instant on" enabled, which doesn't work many times? (Besides I like to turn the console completly off).

    It's so annoying when you haven't played a game for a while and get slapped with an 8 gig update, there really should be a way to search for updates besides starting up each game Force game updates :(.

    If there is, please let me now Force game updates :), if not, MS please implement this as this would be a very usefull function.

    games stuck in queue

    Have you tried deleting the updates from the queue then try starting the game to force it to re download the update?

    I hear this all the time. epic should release a game update that forces a game back up to cloud

    Start the game it usually forces you to update the one x updates for the games

    Try to delete the game and reinstall it. That could force the game to update.

    Set your console to instant on mode and and make sure your settings are set to keep everything updated. I've had a One since day 1 and can only remember maybe 1 or 2 updates I've had to wait on.
