force awakens 3d playback

@vg ghost the xbox one does not have 3d playback that was confirmed yesterday by microsoft but they did say it will most likely have an update in the future to allow 3d playback sony have stated that the ps4 will have 3d playback just not at launch.

Hey there -

If one 3D Blu-Ray disc works but not the other, I would suggest exchanging your Star Wars: The Force Awakens disc for a new one from your retailer first and see if that helps.

Give that a shot and let us know if it helps or not.

The Hobbit 3D also had playback issues with choppy playback. Plus when I unticked the 24hz box in the bluray app settings I lost 3D playback and it went back to 2D.

The PS4 currently does not support 3D playback eitherand has no ETA when it will gain support for that. Right now he will have to keep his PS3 or buy a Blu-ray player that supports 3D if he wants to be able to playback 3D movies.

They both lack this right now. I think Sony is planning on it (but don't quote me on that), MS has said if enough interest is shown they'll do it. I say they both should do it and it's kinda stupid neither have it (especially Sony since their previous console
has it *mutter mutter mutter*. Least MS didn't already support it in an older console, what's Sony's excuse?).

Ah well, my PS3 has it. I just like my PS4 enough I don't want to use the PS3 unless I have to (if nothing else PS3 load times suck and having to quit a game to use Netflix sux and PS4 has already spoiled me there). And I'll mention I would never have bought
a PS3 if it didn't have 3D playback (That was my excuse for getting it) and I probably wouldn't have bought a current gen console either (nor my xbox 360) cause then I wouldn't have gotten back into gaming again so MS and Sony should chew on the fact that
for some of us, that is a system seller and can get us into their "eco system".
