for those like me that have an OLD TV

I just purchased my new Xbox One and found I didn't have a way to connect to my old television via HDMI. Most of the retail items are for Xbox 360 or older versions. I looked in Walmart, Best Buy, and even HHGregg, but couldn't find anything. Finally, my
80 yr old father said, "LET'S GO TO RADIO SHACK." We went and were out in roughly five minutes with an item called "Connect It HDMI to Composite Converter. YOU must ask for it by name. Life is good for us in Xbox land now. To clarify my issue, this is the
connection to the TV that needs Red, Yellow, White plugs.

I hope this helps someone out there that really needs it. GAME ON!!

No 3D Blu Ray Support - Does anyone else care?

It doesnt bother me one bit. In fact, I am one of those that also isn't too thrilled about 3d and will be quite content with my 'old fashioned' non 3d tv and projector.

ok im trying to buy bk all my old games but for some like smash tv it says status code 80153003 and wont let me get this is for games like gauntlet umk3 and smash tv

Hi .

There is a downside to using that converter, you will lose a lot of quality in audio/video. HDMI is always the best option, as I'm sure you know, so I'd recommend only using converters if you have no other option... Just for those who aren't aware ;-).

Its weird how I see so many people saying they game on like a 60 inch or above tv. Do you really need a tv THAT big? I used to play on one of those non hd tv's then I used one of our old LCD tv's with full hd to game on.

I guess if I do upgrade I'll go with LCD or LED but NOTHING above a 32 inch lol. I don't game in the living room I game in my own room so it wouldn't be good to have a huge monster sized tv.

BTW how much would it even cost for a monster sized tv (50inch and above) that is LCD or LED? I want a reliable brand like Panasonic, Pioneer, Sony, Samsung, or Toshiba. Not those cheap branded TV's I see from Insignia or Dynex.

Have you tried different setting on the TV itself? With all those Xboxs used it seems like the TV itself maybe at fault.
