    Well they did fix the problem relatively quickly. I never got a phone call to tell me it was fixed though. I found out on the status page. Thanks to everyone who posted the info about going offline and also about unplugging the xbox for 10 seconds to reset
    the problem after xbox live went live again.

    I am not getting an error code at all. it just says connect to xbox live. Everything says my internet is hooked up and good to go!! ! phones and computer work fine but no xbox live

    Same exact problem I am having with both my account on my xbox and daughters account on her xbox.

    Sign in problem is NOT fixed. No error code but can't connect to xbox live. Network test is fine, all other devices get internet service. Multiplayer test says try again. Of course cant play any downloaded games because cant verify account.

    Did NOT work for me. Neither did disconnecting power, or restart router. Still cant connect

    Yea So I am getting this as well its now 11pm Eastern time the only thing I can do on my Xbox ia watch Netflix thank god for that at least but cant sign it to watch anyother stuff or play a game... Hopefully they fix it soon!

    Update as I was writing it I just got Signed in lol as I was going to take a photo of the error message lol

    Some people do a lot more than "play" on their xboxs... Don't act like your point of view isn't anymore warped than the "ungrateful nerds." Assuming everyone has other options is a pretty ignorant response. They should have sent a heads up.
