    Yea So I am getting this as well its now 11pm Eastern time the only thing I can do on my Xbox ia watch Netflix thank god for that at least but cant sign it to watch anyother stuff or play a game... Hopefully they fix it soon!

    Update as I was writing it I just got Signed in lol as I was going to take a photo of the error message lol

    I did as someone told, unplugged the xbox for 10 seconds (i did mine for a min) and turned it back on. It immediately signed me in and im playing pubg now

    Don't know if the problem has been fixed, but I just updated my console and have just managed to sign in at the first attempt.

    Hey i restarted my xbox and it worked, i turned it on and off and for about 1hr and it did not work until i restarted my xbox and it worked like a charm don't know if it was coincidence but its worth a try!

    worked for me too, maybe who ever suggested it should work for Microsoft support, cuz there support there is garbage. leave it to the players to fix it, good job guys For those having trouble signing in. Error Code: 0x800488FC​ :)
