For the love of god, someone help me; Everyone knows Microsoft support can't.

So, this problem has plagued my family twice now.

To put it briefly, My younger brothers account was charged about £1400 over Fifa points for no reason whatsoever In the November of last year (I believe it's a glitch in the system - and we didn't even get any Fifa points out of it anyway) I called up
support, and after a few days of asking if I could get a refund, I finally got one.

Job done, sorted, although it was never explained why this had happened in the first place. But it was fine, problem solved...

Until about 2-3 weeks ago when my mother (Who pays for his account via Debit Card) received a bill for over £2300 and counting (It's now at about £3000) and so after two weeks of trying to get in touch with the right people, I finally get told.

'I apologize for any frustrations about the issue. Please understand that due to a previous one-time exception being provided on the account on 11/23/2014, I am unable to assist with credits on the account for this
issue. At that time you were advised that we would not be able to assist in the future if this were to occur again. I do recommend that you contact your financial institution to seek further assistance with a credit for the charges.'

So basically what feels like a big [Mod Removed] you by Microsoft.

Pardon the somewhat sporadic and ranty disposition of this post but I'm trying to suppress my rage, my Mother on the other hand, is pretty frantic right now, understandably.

So what the hell can I do?

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your brother's account.

You should start by heading to commerce.microsoft.com. If the charges go through there then it is possible that your brother has been making the purchases but is not telling the truth for fear of getting in trouble or that he perhaps gave his account info
to someone else online and they are making purchases on the card.

However, when it comes to billing issues phone support is your only recourse. If your brother did not make the purchases then your mother should very seriously look into reporting the card as compromised so the bank can put stop payments on it.
