Provided they get the security right then Spartan would be a great name for the browser.

Personally I don't understand this obsession with tabs. I might have two open if I am copy/pasting something from one site to another but that's about it.

To close tabs in the IE app on Xbox One, you simply need to press the view button on your controller (has 2 squares in it)* and then highlight the tab you want to close. Once highlighted, press the menu button on your controller (has 3 horizontal, parallel
lines on it) and from there it's easy - simply select "close tab."

* Please note that after you hit the view button on your controller, there are multiple sub-menus such as favorites, recent, etc. - simply press left or right bumper (the buttons on the top of your controller that do NOT resemble triggers) to get to the
section called "tabs" if you're not already there to continue following the directions above.

I use it on occasion and rarely have more than a single tab or 2 open at a time anyways, so it doesn't bother me as much. What does bother me, however, is how some videos don't want to work because they need flash (which, like IE, seems to be dying out in
its own right) as well as the inability to copy/paste text. With the latter alone, I would use the app a whole lot more than I already do. Sadly, because they're doing away with IE, which in itself is not a bad thing, it does mean that they will probably not
fix these issues, at least not with this app, which I'm kind of upset about. We'll have to wait until their next browser, Spartan, or whatever they decide to call it, and see if it's simply better in every way, shape, and form.
