OMG it works now! After resetting the console for the third time the console started up way differently. Now it's installing my games just like its supposed to be. Thanks for all your help guys! Five stars!

re calibrate it with your background noise louder than normal... helps pick up voice commands... I am guessing you just got the X1.. it does take some getting used to how to speak to it. At first I felt like a robot.. now it is very natural sounding

The robotic sound is akin to an issue that pops up every now and then on Insider builds. If you have a pre owned console, it may well be registered for Xbox Insider Preview. You can remove it using the Xbox Insider Hub app.

Can't you adjust the pitch? Turn it right up and that should make it sound more realistic. And if you can adjust the speed that could help too.
