I'm afraid that the recovery option is the only available one to try and get back into your account. I once lost access to one of my accounts and it took me over 6 months of trying before I was able to regain access.

well if i can im hoping not to have to delete it if its still able to be recovered? but im not sure whats going on but my one drive wasnt signed in so i signed back in and it says my email but then if i forgot my password it says itll send it to the other email. but that other email doesnt get notfications anymore for some reason.

i have the same problem but tried to recover my password my contacting microsoft and filling out a recovering form but they emailed me back and said there is not enough information, so looks like im going to have to make a knew account ?

of course I already did. but they won't give me any evidence of why. if they could just give me viable reason then i could go on my own way. honestly i believe that's what i pay for too.

You can't have some access, in the way that Microsoft accounts works there's only access or no access, recovery emails won't be received on the account you try to recover, will go to the contact email that you complete during the process of getting the verification code

But if you don't get a positive recovery form, means you are not giving the correct information or not enough, that's why you should follow the suggestions from the links I shared previously

There's no other way to recover an account
