for some reason i need another gold membership

Ok first to explain it

Lets call the primary account account 1 with gold and games and dlc

And the second account account 2 that wants to play coop etc whatever

Console 1 is the home console

And console 2 is visiting console

Console 1 Account 1 makes console 1 home and both account 1 -2 can use dlc and gamea and gold on console.1

On console 2

Account 1 must sign into live to use dlc and games at all times

Account 2 does NOT have gold on console 2 as ita on console 1 you have a limit of 10 switches per year gamepass isnt shared only the gold part of ultimate is with one gold only one can be roaming

Keep in mind an profile can only signed in on one place at a time so there Must be two profiles for them to play together

brad, as much as I appreciate your help, it did not work, after I tried it I tried to start a party and it brought me to a page asking me to buy either game pass ultimate or gold, and I know this is not a problem with my gold, as I annually renew it and
it was very recently renewed.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have an issue with sharing after an update. Some updates reset this setting or cause it to have issues. You can go in and check the

home console settings. What you can do if the box states remove this as my home Xbox. Select that than back out one page go back in and make home Xbox again. This will not use a switch as you not changing it to another console. Let us know how it goes.

Cant buy gold membership with paypal but i can buy points for some reason?

As you appear not being on a gold membership here at the moment, this clearly is the reason as you need an active gold membership to play online multiplayer games.
