for dance simulating game ONLY / xbox 360 or xbox one?

I am trying to choose between 360 or one for the dance simulating games only, but I heard that kinetic one is much better than original kinetic, so I don't know if it's worth getting the xbox one instead of 360. This is for my mom,.

Purchasing non-OnDemand games like "Dance Central 2" points?

Even though non-OnDemand games like "Dance Central 2" cannot be purchased for instant use, can those same non-OnDemand boxed games still be purchased using XBox Live points, where it is then shipped to the recipient? I'd like to give points to an XBox 360
owner so they can buy "Dance Central 2" (as opposed to buying the game for them).... this allows them to choose the game they actually want.

Another way to ask this: Can XBox Live points only be used to purchase OnDemand games, or can boxed games be purchased as well?
